BOSTON STRANGLER

By RAPHAEL LUCKOM

DVD_BostonStrangler

The Boston Strangler: The Untold Story is a "chilling true story" that reveals many previously unknown facts about the famous 1962-64 murders. One of the previously unknown facts is that most people in '60s Boston have New York accents. And ADT was big in window stickers. There's another thing that I'm not sure how they got wrong—the ages of the victims. The strangler mostly killed women older than 50, but in this film, they're all a lot younger and cuter. Because, you know, watching the guy rape and kill Grandma would be weird. It's also the chilling true story of what happens when you give the costume designer a bigger budget than the rest of the movie combined. Keep an eye out for David Faustino's turn as the Strangler himself. Remember him? He was Bud Bundy ... Yeah.

Hard to believe, but unfortunately, not the least bit surprising:

"After receiving billions in aid from U.S. taxpayers, the nation's largest banks say they can't track exactly how they're spending the money or they simply refuse to discuss it."
