When Byetone recently played Cambridge, his visuals were not a countdown, but rather, a count-up. Starting from zero, the digital projection behind him got to about 30 and some shit was going down. Rapidly buzzing sine waves and dropkick bass were criss-crossing the PA system like so many lazer beams over Catherine Zeta-Jones' butt. This dark techno is so far ahead of its time it makes me want to say, "Where we're going we don't need roads" ... and I just did.

Health and Human Services Public Hearing

“One of the most heart breaking things for me is the great number of homeless veterans,” said Ralph Cooper, executive director of Veterans Benefits Clearinghouse. “As you can tell, I’m getting older and my gray hair tells the truth. You can’t imagine how painful it is for me to talk with men and women who served in Vietnam, men and women who are young, coming back from Afghanistan and Iraq and they are homeless. How disgraceful is that?”
