Finally. Recorded in 2004, Jeanius was shelved after being leaked online, leaving fans waiting ever since. Like all Jean's work, Jeanius is rife with double entendres, delivered with a pugnacious, smoky flow. The album isn't her finest, though—it's quite uneven. But Jeanius is worth buying, if only to hear Jean rip lines like "I'm leaving them bleeding and gasping / Like they're Jesus on wood." Besides, if you copped the bootleg four years ago, you owe it to her.
