Generic Viagra is proved to be the gift for the impotent men.
Millions of the men in the world were suffering from the impotence. The
inability to get or sustain the erection is called the impotency or erectile
dysfunction. Men all over the world were really feeling ashamed of their
failure in the bed and were not having any option.
Scientists conducted lot of research to find out the reason
behind the impotency. All the research came to the single conclusion that man
gets the erection during the sexual activity because of the increased supply of
blood in penis. Suddenly, a report published in United States, “First Drug to Treat
Impotency Discovered,” gave all the impotent men a hope. Thus, the first drug
to treat the impotency was discovered and named as Viagra by the manufacturer.
Viagra was in great demand and it was also very expensive, so
it was out of the reach of the common man. Hence, here the revolution took
place and the generic Viagra was introduced by the small companies in United States. Generic
Viagra was very cheap as compared to original Viagra. Hence, generic Viagra
started gaining the lots of sales in the market, but this made the original
manufacturer to lose the hold on market. Thus, the original manufacturer filed
the case against generic Viagra manufacturers. Questions like, “Whether generic
Viagra is safe?” and “Is generic Viagra FDA approved?” were asked to generic
Viagra manufactures. Hence, the generic Viagra manufacturers logged a
requisition to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in United States
for the approval. After checking the standards of the generic Viagra
manufacturers, and conducting the clinical trials it was found that generic
Viagra is same in effect and properties as the brand-name drug, and treated
nearly all the men with erectile dysfunction.
FDA declared generic Viagra to be absolutely safe and a
quality product to treat erectile dysfunction. Generic Viagra also contained
the active constituent Sildenafil Citrate, same as the original Viagra. After
the FDA approval and understanding the market demands, many companies started
manufacturing the Generic Viagra and this lead to the decrease in the price of
generic Viagra. The turning point was the FDA approval and certainly the sales
of the generic Viagra crossed all the records in the sales.
A survey was conducted to check the efficacy of generic Viagra like Silagra pill or Kamagra jelly
efficacy among the customers; survey found that 99% of the generic Viagra
customers were satisfied with the results. Side-effects observed were very
minimal. Thus, generic Viagra proved to be a gift for the impotent men.

Generic Viagra is an effective drug used to
treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Inability in the men to get the erection or
retain the erection during the sexual activity is called as erectile
dysfunction. Large numbers of men in the world are suffering from erectile
dysfunction, i.e. nearly 70% of the men. All the men using the generic Viagra
had expressed their satisfaction. But the latest study revealed that generic
Viagra is not only effective against the erectile dysfunction but also can be
used to treat the prostate and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated
with prostate enlargement.
The question here was whether there is some relation between the erectile
dysfunction and LUTS. The study was conducted in which investigation of 245 men
aged >= 50 years and with regular sex mates using International Prostate
Symptom Score (IPSS) and International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF-5),
designed diagnostic interrogation and medical examination, and statistically
analyzed the results of IPSS, IIEF-5, LUTS, and their correlation with erectile
function. The study revealed that the incidence of ED was 81.9% (140/171) among
the men with LUTS, 73.1% (38/52), 82.1% (46/56), and 88.9% (56/63),
respectively in the 50-59, 60-69, and > = 70 age groups, with significant
differences in IPSS, IIEF-5 (P < 0.01), and the severity of ED (P < 0.01)
among different age groups. Thus, the study proved that erectile dysfunction
and LUTS are correlated.
Another study was conducted by the group of research workers to know the effect
of generic Viagra on LUTS. The 12-week, double-blind, placebo (fake
pill)-controlled study of Viagra in men aged 45 years and older who had ED and
LUTS associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), an enlargement of the
prostate gland that causes an obstruction in the flow of urine through the
urethra. Sildenafil citrate is the active constituent of
generic
Viagra. Through phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitions; sildenafil
citrate induces relaxation in penile smooth muscle, resulting in erection. Due
to its mild affinity for other PDE enzymes, it may cause smooth muscle
relaxation in a number of other organs. Thus, the study concluded that the
generic Viagra has effect on LUTS by reducing the symptoms.
Study participants were checked for changes in erectile function, self-esteem,
LUTS associated with BPH, quality of life, and maximum urinary flow rate.
Results of the study indicated that men who took generic Viagra either at
bedtime or 30 minutes to an hour before anticipated sexual activity experienced
a significant improvement in erectile function, self-esteem, and quality of
life, with a concomitant decrease in both the irritative and obstructive
symptoms of BPH.
Finally, we can say that generic Viagra can also be used to treat the LUTS.
