[Letters]

Thx for the nut-kick!

By Dig Readers

I would like to express my gratitude to the Dig for printing the letter from T "spokesman" Joe Pesaturo (Letters, 10.31.07).

At last someone has revealed the true nature of T management's feelings towards its riders. I give props to Baratunde Thurston for finding a chink in the armor of the T's rhetoric regarding its own sad state of affairs. Mr. Pesaturo could have taken the high ground and simply corrected any of Mr. Thurston's inaccuracies in a professional way.

Instead, like a schoolyard bully, he engages in mud-slinging by insulting Mr. Thurston, the Dig, and the entire Dig readership. Obviously, being a spokesman for the T must be a difficult and thankless job, but Mr. Pesaturo seems to have developed some sort of battered-wife syndrome. Perhaps the "spokesman" needs a spokesman.
